Congratulations to Eldyka Simpson, winner of our 2011 Limerick Contest.
Winning entry
High up in the tall hills near ol' Brule,
Sits a ranch that I've learned is quite cool.
Near trees shaped like a cat,
And a river at that,
Black Cat Ranch is an Albertan jewel.
2012 Contest
The 2012 contest is a short story contest. This is an easy choice due to the short story challenge that the Ranch’s Amber Hayward has given herself. For the Story 365 Project, Amber is writing a story of at least 200 words and posting on her blogsite daily from May 1, 2011 - April 30, 2012. The stories can be found at www.amberhayward.ca
Black Cat Guest Ranch fans can submit a short story of maximum 200 words. Stories must be set at the Black Cat. The prize is a weekend for two at the Ranch, including meals.
Our mailing address:

And don't forget, we are always interested in any great photographs you may have taken during your stay at the Black Cat. If we put your photo on our website, we will give you a photo credit.
